An old craftsmanship from Venice which can dated back to 14th century. Decorate with glass powders and mixing with a unique recipes from Venice. Artworks with this techniques are still showing in the Museum of Glass in Murano.

 

The process of Venetian glass painting takes time to paint on and then fired over 600C in the furnace, but the vibrant colours will last forever. Mainly for decorative only, but it’s washable & able to scratch.

How to >

STEP 1

 

Swipe your hands, fingers and glass surface with alcohol. We need oil-free surface to start painting on enamels.

STEP 2 - Paint the layour first, no rush ;)

Mix your desired colour and you can start painting the main object (foto. 2.1), Then start painting the side details with the colours you like (foto. 2.2), During the process, you can see the colours turn into a matte finish, which means it's dried.

STEP 3 - Use a thicker colour to paint on the 1st layer.

After you finish the first layer of layout, you can add on some details on the first layout, with a thicker layer of paint.
